My name is Barry Dowling and I am the driving force behind Custom Fibreglassing.

I have been providing a full range of fibreglass services to satisfied customers since 1984.

My comprehensive range of fibreglass services are available to you. These include pattern and mould making, production, fabrication and repair. In addition I also offer you project management, consultation and business skills.

What is Custom Fibreglassing's background?

I have been in the fibreglass industry since 1984. I have owned a fibreglass manufacturing business in Brisbane for seven years, privately contracted for many more years and also been employed full time in companies such as CSR Fibreconcreting, Albert Smith Signs and Clearlite Bathrooms as manager and or trades person in fibreglass based operations.

I started in the industry working in a company called Multi Hulls. I was part of the team building large cruising catamarans using the then specialised construction technology of Epoxy, Kevlar, Carbon Fibre, specialist reinforcements and Divinycell. From there I moved on to work for Rapid Fibreglass where I trained in pattern and mould making, prototype development, production and anything else in fibreglass. Eventually I left and started my own very successful fibreglass business.

During the time of my business I broadly expanded my knowledge, skills and experience into many areas. I also trained in PMI project management and became business qualified.

I'd like to think that after the many years of working in the fibreglass and other related industries, I have something special to offer you. You might even call me a craftsman that builds in fibreglass. I can offer you hands on service as well as management, consultation and business skills.
