Moulding a Fibreglass Customised Sports Car Dash.

The client required an existing dash to be modified and moulded in fibreglass for his customised sports car.

The old dash had the centre cut out and a new guage panel built and inserted. Mouldings were fabricated and inserted in the side panel to hold additional guages. All remaining holes and cut outs that weren't required were filled.

The existing surface of the dash was a textured vinyl finish. The client wanted a smooth gloss finish so the entire surface was faired and sanded smooth. Care was taken to keep the existing side mouldings intact so they would match up perfectly with the original dash inside the car.

The atlered dash was moulded and a new gloss black fibreglass moulded dash was made.
