Transom Rebuild

This boat was brought to me with the transom already cut out. The rear deck was also removed and the new plywood transom was started. The owner wanted me to rebuild the transom and put the deck back on.

When replacing the deck there wasn't enough fibreglass flange on the old deck to glue and rivet it back on. To ensure a strong bonding the rear deck was attached with fibreglass along the underside. The very end of the deck was also modified and fibreglassed together.

The final work was flow coated ready for the fittings and motor. The owner will finish replacing all the trims and paint.
