Fibreglass Repair of Fibreglass front guard of a Mobility Scooter.

The front guard of a mobility scooter was badly cracked. The guard was made from plastic and the owner wanted to sheath the underside with a layer of fibreglass to stiffen and reinforce it.

Fibreglass wont stick to plastic so I roughened it to help make a mechanical bond with the glass. I sheathed the underside and added extra layers to where the main cracks were to help prevent it cracking again.

The owner was going to take it to a spray painter to get it repainted.
